As a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization, The Richmond Forum is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of corporate and community leaders. The Board recently approved the nomination of five new Board Members: James R. Conschafter, President & Market Leader at Media General; Anne Lynam Goddard, President & CEO of ChildFund International; Ed Grier, Dean of the VCU School of Business; Daphne Maxwell Reid, Co-owner of New Millennium Studios; and Gary L. Sypolt, CEO of Dominion Energy.In addition, the Board of Directors named Bruce Kelley as the new Chairman of the Board, succeeding Judith W. Pahren, who led the organization for the last two years. Kelley is a Vice Chairman at The Martin Agency and joined The Richmond Forum Board of Directors in 2008. Linda Warren, Vice President & Controller at Altria, has been named Vice Chair of The Richmond Forum Board. W. Jefferson O’Flaherty, Executive Vice President at Xenith Bank, will continue to serve as the organization’s Treasurer and H. Michael Ligon, Vice President of Universal Leaf Tobacco Company, will continue as Secretary.
Departing The Richmond Forum Board after serving six years each are Susan Greenbaum, Gail Johnson, and Lyn McDermid.
